Jim Fox has played in rock bands since the sixties in New York, New Jersey and Vermont.

Together with his close friend Bob Teer,  Jim co-founded Shellhouse - and as he once said ,
"We were there before the beginning."

Jim adds a distinctive touch to the Shellhouse sound with his well honed skills on both electric and acoustic guitar and his style is the counter balance to Bob's vocals and lyrics.

He often serves as Bob's sounding board for new material and together they have worked to create the memorable arrangements on both Bob's orginal songs and the cover material performed in concert by Shellhouse.

His musical influences include Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, Larry Coryell, and John McLaughlin.
